In December 2022, our team got stuck into this great little project for Showtec Shoreham at Sussex House. Showtec came to us in need of a durable and long-lasting solution for their car park. The previous tarmac surface had reached the end of its life and was in need of replacement. We had the perfect solution, installing this smart and cost-effective asphalt car park complete with concrete paving and full drainage.
The Execution:
Our team began by removing the existing car park surface and preparing the site for the new tarmac surface. We then installed a new base layer of asphalt, which serves as the foundation for the new surface. Once the base layer was in place, we applied a top layer of asphalt, which was then compacted to ensure a smooth and even surface.
After ensuring all the drainage and paving were in place, we finished it all off with line painting to mark out individual spaces and no-stopping zones and the job was done!
