Sam and the Team from SGS removed our tired and old concrete driveway and replaced it with a beautiful resin-bound-stone driveway. Access to our house is a little restricted (we live at the end of private road with trees restricting easy lorry access); which made completing the work quite awkward for the team. However, the SGS team were unfazed by these difficulties and communicated really well with us and our neighbours and kept disruption to a minimum. Despite some unforeseen complexities arising as the work was being undertaken (the original concrete driveway was about 3 times thicker than anticipated) SGS still delivered our new driveway on time, on price and to a superbly high standard in terms of quality and finish. SGS laid a new path and two new patio areas in our back garden in early March 2020. We are absolutely delighted with the results, which have transformed our garden and made it a lovely place to be during the lockdown months. This company have been a complete pleasure to have working on my property. They not only fixed the mess the previous company left but they squeezed me in before Xmas. They worked their socks off, they are all friendly polite and very considerate. They kept everything tidy at the end of each day, kept us up to date at every stage so we knew the plans.
Some days there would be 7 men working to get the job done. My driveway has been gutted and we now have a beautiful tarmac drive with grey edging stones. One of the guys even recommended a change to the design which looks amazing I’m over joyed we found this company after the disaster of the last one we had in. I would highly recommend. 🏅
