Resin Bound Gravel
What is Resin Bound Gravel?
Resin Bound Gravel has mainly been used within the commercial sector for many years but has more recently become hugely popular for many domestic applications due to its high strength and low maintenance properties.
Our resin is produced to the highest of standards and batch tested, to ensure total consistency for every resin kit, giving our customers complete peace of mind that their work is carried out to exacting standards.
The technical bit
SGS Surfacing Ltd uses the highest quality resin available. The ResinBound Pro standard is a new generation, industry leading resin using an advanced hybrid system. Utilising the latest polymer technology, the polyurethane based system has excellent mechanical properties and produces stronger resilient bonds.
It is different to other resins on the market due to it’s colour. The aesthetic difference is striking setting it apart from other resins on the market. Other manufacturer’s isocyanate is a tar brown, leaving a dark brown resin residue on the surface within days, which dulls the aggregate colour. The composition and refined manufacturing process of the ResinBound Pro means it is a lot lighter in colour. When it is laid, minimal colour change occurs enabling the aggregate to hold its original colour properties offering a superior appearance.
