Back in Autumn, the SGS Surfacing team tackled another large-scale resurfacing project in Brighton, transforming the playground of St Martin’s Church of England Primary and Nursery School. With years of experience resurfacing educational and recreational spaces, we were excited to get this project underway.
The existing playground surface was worn and uneven, posing safety risks for the children. The school required a durable, safe, and visually appealing solution that would enhance the play experience and withstand the rigours of daily use.
Blessed with warm conditions over the work period, our team worked meticulously in to ensure a seamless finish. The new surface is super smooth, guaranteeing a safer and more enjoyable environment for break-time activities.
Key Features Of A New Asphalt Playground Surface:
Safety-First Approach: The new surface provides enhanced grip and reduced slip hazards, ensuring the well-being of the children.
Aesthetic Appeal: The resurfaced area has uplifted the school’s outdoor aesthetic, creating an inviting space for children to play and learn.
Durability: Using high-quality materials, the playground is now equipped to endure extensive use and variable weather conditions.
At SGS Surfacing, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in every project. The resurfacing St Martin’s School playground is a shining example of our dedication to enhancing community spaces. The children of this school in Brighton now have a fantastic new area to enjoy their break times, thanks to the hard work and expertise of our team.
