If you are a regular at Bolney Stage Pub, you’ll know that their car park was a little worse for wear. …Until recently, that is!
The SGS Surfacing team had a great time resurfacing the car park at The Bolney Stage in Haywards Heath with a fresh layer of tarmac. By the pub’s own admission, it was not a moment too soon, and we were honoured to be of service to such a great watering hole beloved by so many!
Over the course of 2 days, we carried out prep work on the existing car park. Setting to work against an army of potholes, this included planning out 2,000 sq meters, raising ironworks and spraying tack coat emulsion across each area.
When prep was complete, we set about laying down fresh asphalt by the lorry load. You can see our team (including Big Burt the asphalt paving machine) busy with this stage in the progress pictures.
When the new asphalt was laid and the entire car park resurfaced, we got down to the finishing touches including painting in new bays and disabled parking.
This was a super satisfying project from start to finish. We transformed the pot-hole-ridden parking at The Bolney Stage into this beautiful smooth, durable car park. We’ve been chuffed to hear that many happy customers have commented with relief and excitement about the new car park. We love to hear it!
