Project Overview

During the summer holiday period, we completed a major playground refurbishment at Thorpe House School in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. This project, our first collaboration with Pentagon Play, represents the beginning of a a long and successful partnership.

Scope of Works

The project covered an area of 950 m², with works including:

Removal of existing rubber wet pour surfacing and pitch
Installation of 30–40 mm AC10 dense binder across the playground
Disposal of all waste generated during the works

Due to site conditions, assumptions regarding sub-base suitability were made to ensure smooth project delivery and maintain timelines.
