Conservation Project at Almshouse Dyers Charity, London

SGS Surfacing was honoured to restore the historic Almshouse site in Blackheath for The Worshipful Company of Dyers. From January to March 2025, we carefully preserved its heritage by restoring and reusing original cobbles, blending traditional materials with expert craftsmanship. Despite seasonal challenges, our team ensured a seamless, high-quality restoration that respects the past while enhancing durability for the future.

Scope of Work:
SGS Surfacing was entrusted with the conservation and restoration of the historic Almshouse site in Blackheath, London.
